Dogs:
Ninja
Nala

Danial was introduced to the bully world, along with his girlfriend, when they got their first dog together named Maya; she was a Pit Bull/Siberian Husky mix. While having Maya, Danial ran an Instagram page for her, it was through this that he became aware of how misunderstood the breed really is. He began to follow more pit bull friendly accounts and make connections within the community. After losing Maya in November of 2013, the decision to rescue another dog was made and Ninja (SDPP Ambassador) was adopted from the Gaines Street shelter in San Diego in January of 2014.

After adopting Ninja, Danial and his girlfriend wanted to learn more about pitbulls, get more  involved in  advocating  for them, and

meet other people who also had a love for the bully breeds. He took to Meetup.com and searched for pit bull related groups, where he discovered our group. His first experience with San Diego Pittie Parents was when Ninja was accepted as an official ambassador and they attended the 2016 San Diego Pet Expo. In February of 2016, Nala (SDPP Ambassador) was also rescued prior to being surrendered to a shelter in Bakersfield, Ca by her previous owner.

Most of Danial’s free time outside of work and school is now spent attending SDPP events. He enjoys bringing both Ninja and Nala out to our nature walks and Leash & Learn events, as well as attending some of our pup-free parent events. Even when not attending events, he and his girlfriend enjoy taking the dogs out walking around popular public places such as Seaport Village and Balboa park to show off their good manners and positive image. They also enjoy visits to local dog parks and, during the summer, to leash-free Fiesta Island near Mission Bay. Danial has enjoyed spending more time helping to advocate for the beloved bully breed, and wants everyone to have a chance to know the true joy of getting to love one.
